Registration for Children's Dance Classes

Register by phone or at our 5 Atwood Avenue location.

Registration Procedure

New students must register in person.  Please call in advance.

Returning students may register by mailing a check and indicating the class name/day/time.

Registration Fee

$45, one time fee for all new students under the age of eighteen.  This fee is non-refundable.

Tuition

Tuition works out to approximately $21 per class, to be paid in 3-month installments. Please call for further details.

Other Fees

WE DO NOT CHARGE ADDITIONAL FEES FOR DANCE RECITALS, COSTUMES, OR TICKETS.

Payment Methods

Cash or check only. No credit cards. There is a $25 charge for all returned checks.              

Class Placement

Tenafly Arts endeavors to place all children in appropriate classes in order to maintain the integrity of each class.  At the school’s discretion, a student may be required to switch to a class more suitable to that student’s level.  If the student does not wish to make the requested change, the student may instead receive a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the session.  Certain advanced classes require a minimum of 2 or 3 classes per week.

Timeliness/Attendance

Classes will start on time.  Those coming late may attend at the teacher’s discretion.  Full participation is required.

Children’s Dress Code

NO STREET SHOES ALLOWED ON THE DANCE FLOOR (Carry and change into dance shoes)

Girls Ballet

Black leotard (no skirts), pink tights and ballet slippers.  Hair neatly secured.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING CHEWING GUM, FOOD, SNACKS, OR DRINKS (except bottled water) INTO THE SCHOOL.
